FROM THE FOUNDER

Huzaifa Tariq

Legalise started as a part of another project where i keep a directory of useful procedures and places. Somewhere along the way it morphed into what you see now. It took its time and my full attention to have it set into motion.

I did not build it to tell advocates about the law they already know. I built it to make the work easier. If it saves someone half an hour in a day then I have built something useful. That is the only standard I care about.

The one ultimate question: why only Islamabad, when most of Pakistani law applies everywhere else too? My background is in Finance so think of it like this: You study the concepts universally, fine. But the moment you get to any specific country it stops being universal. The models and tools don't fit to reality. Every place has its own structure and rules, its own things that matter, its own unofficial traditions that everyone just knows to follow. As is in finance, so it is in Law, that the general tools are too broad and suited to businesses rather than individuals either due to the style of coverage of the content or that the price of entry stops making sense for the individual practitioner.

This right here is what peaked my interest, the reduction in the breadth of execution. And this comes out to the best of both worlds as having to not spend a year and a team on development, I save costs and so does the practitioner who becomes a member.

Lastly, you should have no hesitation in contacting me, especially if you think there is something that would benefit from addition or refinement. If it is within my ability, then I will make it so.

Thankyou for reading!
